It’s hard to describe how life-changing, even magical, it is to master the art of DIY waxing, but I’m going to try. I know it may sound like an exaggeration, but it’s not! Using waxing kits all by yourself is nothing short of an epiphany.
Imagine this: You’re able to wax yourself in the comfort of your home, whenever you need to, without having to make appointments or drag yourself to the salon. You save tons of money by DIY-ing a basic self-maintenance task that you used to pay others to do. And, you do a better job of it too – no one knows your body the way you do, and with some practice, you can give yourself the kind of perfect and thorough wax that you’d never be able to get at a salon.
Simply put, DIY waxing is empowering, liberating, cost-effective, and convenient.
However, it can seem like a major chore – dealing with sticky, stringy wax, the pain, and the mess created by used strips. Not to mention, the whole post-wax clean-up sessions; having to sit around and remove all those goopy bits of residual wax still stuck to your skin? No thanks! The whole thing seems far from simple, BUT waxing yourself doesn’t have to be a chore.
Enter hard waxing beads.
Wax beans/waxing beads are a complete revolution. They make DIY waxing simple, easy, quick, relatively painless, and completely mess and fuss-free – the way it should be!
I’ve been a dedicated DIY waxer since my teens, and while I’ve always enjoyed the freedom of being able to give myself a wax whenever I needed it, I admit it used to feel like a long and elaborate chore sometimes. But, all that’s changed with hard waxing beads. They legit WORK, you guys – they do exactly what you need them to, and they do it perfectly.
Waxing beads are the bomb for a number of reasons:
In short, waxing beads totally change the game – DIY waxing has never been this easy.
If you’re looking to save on effort and money, a waxing kit can be a quick and easy way to get started on DIY waxing with hard wax beads. The best waxing beads kits will have everything you need to ensure you get the perfect wax each time. At home wax kits are complete, all-in-one packages, which contain all the essential items you need to maximize the potential of your hard wax beads and get the most out of them – wax beads (obviously), a great wax warmer, and some trusty applicator sticks.
Combined, the three products make for the ultimate hard wax beans waxing kits, providing a complete DIY waxing experience, and enabling you to maintain smooth, hair-free, perfectly waxed skin in the most convenient, efficient, and cost-effective manner possible.
It can be hard to pick the best home waxing kits. Firstly, the companies that make the products are not generally well-known, making it hard for newbies to guess at the quality of a product – unless you’ve tried a particular kit, you really can’t tell what it will be like.
Secondly, since there are multiple components in a kit, there’s always the risk that some component or the other might turn out to be of inferior quality. To help you skip the hassle and get right to the good stuff, here are some of my expert recommendations for the best quality hard wax beans kits available in the market. (BTW, if you are looking specifically for eyebrow waxing kits, these kits are still great options – just buy an additional pack of smaller-sized applicators to go along with it, and you’ll be all set).
As far as the best wax warmer kits go, this one is a complete winner. Why shop around for separate items when you can just buy a single, top-quality set that contains everything you’ll need? In addition to a Yeelen wax warmer (one of my favorites – a super effective and reliable little machine!), the kit contains 10 applicator sticks and 4 bags of wax beads made of natural ingredients (in original, chocolate, lavender and chamomile scents). Check out the Yeleen Wax Warmer here.
In addition to its cool, matte black color scheme, this is another professional waxing kit which contains a top quality wax warmer. The Lifestance wax warmer is made with a 100% copper wire and durable, heat-resistant material which will ensure that your warmer doesn’t overheat while your wax is melted in no time! In addition, it comes with a 1-year warranty. Along with the warmer, the kit also contains 10 large wooden applicator spatulas, and three 100g bags of hard waxing beans (chamomile, lavender, and of course, black). Take a look at the Lifestance wax warmer here.
The Wokaar waxing beans kit comes complete with a trusty wax warmer that can accommodate temperatures ranging from 160℉ to 240℉, 10 applicator sticks, and 4 bags of hard wax beans in natural, lavender, chamomile, and chocolate scents. This hard wax kit is a great balance of quality and value for money.
The Vena Beauty waxing beans kit contains a sturdy wax warmer, ten wooden applicators, and two 50g packs of lavender and chamomile waxing beans – the all-in-one DIY waxing solution for an easy, mess-free, and effective waxing session!
Firstly, the wax warmer in this at home waxing kit is pink. Pink! Secondly, in addition to the warmer, the kit contains 3 bags of waxing beans (in original, lavender, and rose scents), and 20 applicator spatulas. Did I mention the warmer is pink? Check out the Arinda waxing kit here.
With this awesome hard beans waxing kit, you’ll be all set. The Mascheri wax kit contains a wax warmer (with 400ml capacity), 10 wooden applicator sticks, and 4 bags of scented, natural-ingredient hard wax beads (original, lavender, chocolate, and chamomile). One of the best waxing kits out there, this is perfect for both pros and newbies looking to test the waters.
Given their natural ingredients, hard wax beads for hair removal are generally safe for all skin types. However, as with all waxes and hair removal products, you need to make absolutely sure you do not use hard wax beans on broken, irritated, inflamed or injured skin, or on warts, moles, sunburned areas or areas of the skin that have recently been affected by surgery. In addition, be careful not to wax your skin within 2 hours after showering or sunbathing, and do not go for sunbathing, tanning, or exfoliating for at least a day or two after you’ve waxed.
In order to make sure you do not have an allergic reaction to waxing beads, test a small bit on a small patch of your skin (preferably on the area inside your forearm) – if, after 24 hours, all seems well and you haven’t developed a rash or experienced any other adverse reactions, it means you are good to go.
Do not use hard wax hair removal beans if your skin has reacted badly to wax products in the past. If you have skin conditions/skin-related disorders like eczema, or are using medication that has an impact on your skin, please consult your doctor before use.
Remember guys – hairless, smooth skin is a major goal, but it’s also important to be super careful about your health and skin, so if you think a product is affecting you adversely, discontinue use and consult with a doctor immediately! XOXO
